Welcome back. Thanks for joining us this summer. We’ve been walking through a study/message series on 1 Thessalonians 5. These are Paul’s closing remarks to the church in Thessalonica, and he identifies a series of tasks the church should do to be healthy. We’re digging into God’s Word so we can be healthy. These tasks are not just for the church or the community of believers, but for all of us to individually pursue.

We hope our words touch you where needed. More importantly, we pray you allow God to grab a hold of your heart in a stronger way day by day.

Today’s message is by Joel Morris. Today, Joel discusses 1 Thessalonians 5:25-28;  Brothers and sisters, pray for us. 26 Greet all God’s people with a holy kiss. 27 I charge you before the Lord to have this letter read to all the brothers and sisters. 28 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Now there really is no way to mistake the meaning of these verses.  They’re simple and direct but they are rich with application which means we should take a closer look. These final four statements consists of three closing requests and then a benediction and they identify some priorities for us as a church so that we can be healthier.

Thanks for joining us. Our next series begins 9/2/18 and will be a 3 part series on Philippians 1 focusing on togetherness.

In Christ,
Pastor Joel
