Thank you for joining us for a short three message series titled “Response to Easter.”
John 3:16; For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. God’s love requires a response. Jesus commands us to love God, so how are we returning God’s love?
This isn’t a trick question. Jesus answered the question for us. The greatest commandment Jesus replied: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength.” We are to love God with all we are and have. But loving God to this extreme does have it’s challenges. To help us love God I’d like to offer ten means by which we can love God to the fullest (of course, there are many ways).
One disclaimer; no one is ever right with God because they followed a list. No religious activity, church attendance, number of good things we do, sacrifices we make, or how many rules we keep entirely prove our love for God. No one is ever right with God until their love for Him is manifested completely and unconditionally in their heart, soul, mind and strength. God knows.
